Job Overview: The Supply Chain Associate will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain processes to ensure efficient procurement, production, and delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position requires collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to maintain seamless operations and meet customer demands.
Responsibilities- Procurement:
- Source and procure raw materials, packaging supplies, and equipment needed for production.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain favorable terms and pricing.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of materials to support production schedules.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation and customs clearance.
- Track and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Address any issues or discrepancies in deliveries, quality, or pricing.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
